I've been writing about as long as I can remember, from short stories and poems throughout my childhood to completing a bachelor's degree in professional writing (with a healthy dose of creative writing mixed in). Whether for fun, for my job, or both, I find that I am constantly writing and telling stories, and I'm at my happiest when doing so.
My skill as a writer also enhances my eye as an editor. In most of my professional roles, editing and proofreading have been among my chief responsibilities, and I am usually the person friends and family ask to give their own work a once-over.
